The beginning
In the beginning, there was nothing.
Before the first word was written, before the first brushstroke, before the first note was played — there was the void. Formless. Dark. Waiting.
Then the Spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters. And from that sacred hovering, everything came into being. Not by force. Not by formula. By breath.
